New concrete walls are in place. According to the blueprint for the service building, it will become even larger. Currently, there is space for 2 larger boats on each side, moored alongside. On the outside of the pier, you are more exposed to waves. Good depth on both sides of the pier. Not equipped with electricity on the pier (but that will surely come).

Space for one, perhaps two boats at the guest dock (no floating dock). The filled berth is reserved for Rib guide boats. Not good depth, but fine for my boat which has a draft of 1.2 meters.

Fantastic sailing through the entire fjord.

Facilitated with a floating dock. Easy approach and sheltered by a breakwater. The depth at the dock was perhaps a couple of meters at low tide. Easy access to electricity and water. No access to toilet.

Concrete floating dock. There are spaces for two guest books. The rest is reserved for Rib charter traffic. Easy to navigate in and adequate depth. We didn't get a spot in the harbor, so we couldn't check the conditions on land.

Probably the best guest harbor in Sognefjorden.. easy approach and good depth conditions. (There is both electricity and water, but no power outlet at the outer end of the floating dock.

On the other side of the river that flows into Vik, there are opportunities to refuel. Both gasoline and diesel. www.tanken.no

There might be cruise ships anchoring in the fjord and using tender boats to shuttle people, but did not experience it as a problem.

Terrible conditions for a guest pier. Just an old wooden pier (not a floating dock) exposed to waves. No electricity or water. No grocery store in the village, only a small snack bar. A public toilet at the ferry quay. Shared with all the bathers.

Many of the spots on the guest pier are reserved for charter traffic. This includes the entire outer side of the concrete wall. The inner part on the inside also has reserved spots.

Poorly adapted for recreational boats. No floating dock, exposed to weather with many waves from ferries, express boats, and cruise ships.
