There is plenty of space in the harbor. Good harbor for various wind directions except for easterly winds. The best spots are all the way inside if you find an available berth there. Berths marked with green (on both sides) can be used.

Haugesund is a nice city to visit while passing by. The price in the marina is overpriced. NOK 500,- including electricity. Only one toilet for the entire marina is insufficient. No possibility to dispose of garbage as the bins were locked.

Nice town to visit. Available berths are marked with 'guest', but there are few berths for large boats. However, it's okay to moor alongside the pier by the Customs House. Slightly short water hoses. Toilet facilities on land close at 20:00.

Sheltered and calm harbor in most wind directions. Great hiking areas. Rich in culture and history. Well worth a visit. There are several private berths in the harbor. Check the notices on the quay. You pay with Vipps. Limited power capacity if there are many boats. Not equipped with toilet facilities, but there is a toilet that can be used up by the mine park.

The guest pier is the one furthest to the right when you enter. There are 3 berths with electricity. Toilet and shower facilities are available in the old school building 300 meters from the harbor, but are only open during the high season. We were there at Easter and it was closed then.

Skålafjero is a good alternative to Rosendal Harbour as it is somewhat better sheltered from the wind. Unfortunately, there are no toilets and showers belonging to this harbor. On weekends, there may be some noise from the bar (BarOn) nearby.

With my 35-foot boat, it was fine to go all the way to the innermost part of the quay by the restaurant. Unfortunately, there were problems with the electricity, and while awaiting repairs, it was disconnected. Due to this, staying overnight is free of charge. It is nice to paddle through the canal and walk/cycle in the area.

Two guest spots at the outermost. Price only 250,- with electricity. Brought a bicycle and had a great ride to Hosanger and Kossdalsvingene.

All the way inside the harbor, it is sheltered and calm. Space for two larger boats, 40 feet. Kleppestø is the commercial center on Askøy with many shops and eateries. Free to dock for up to 24 hours.

It is easy to dock at the floating pier. However, as the current owner does not operate the place, the dock has fallen into some disrepair. There is no water and the electricity is defective. Further inside the harbor, it is possible to dock on the left side of the floating pier used by the ferry. There is also electricity there. However, only short stays are allowed as the pier is also used by a workboat traveling back and forth to Lysøen.
It is nice to take a walk up to the ruins at Lysekloster and further up the mountain behind.

It is possible to dock at the old quay. Further in, there's a nice marina, but only private berths. Anchoring is possible at the innermost part of the harbor and the surrounding area. If you go all the way in, be careful not to run into a shipwreck that lies right at the entrance.
There are excellent hiking opportunities in the area with Alvøen's old mill, old houses, museum, and guest house.

Valen offers a nice hiking area with birdlife and cultural-historical remnants from the war. The quay is somewhat worn.

Bergen Motorboat Association (BMF) is one of the city's oldest and most traditional boat clubs, founded in 1926. For nearly a century, it has been a gathering place for boating enthusiasts, recreational boat owners, and those who wish to cultivate the maritime culture that characterizes Bergen's rich coastal history.

Although this is a boat club and not a regular guest harbor, there is a guest pier at the far north end. Overnight stays are free of charge, but you pay 50,- for electricity. There are showers and toilets available, but you need a key to use these.

When entering and leaving the harbor, there are a couple of things to keep in mind:
The depth in the strait under the Straume bridge is 3 m, and the clearance under the bridge is 4.5 m.
Those sailing against the current through the strait should give way.
Be especially aware that there are two channels under the bridge.
Only the northernmost channel is navigable..!
Show consideration when navigating in and out of the marina. Max 4 knots.

Nice harbor to lie and wait for the weather before you head north. You can moor inside the harbor or outermost on the floating piers. Overnight stay with electricity costs NOK 200,-
Nice for a walk along the narrow roads between the houses in the south of the island.

Nice floating pier available for use. There are usually many boats, so it is recommended to drop anchor with the bow facing in. The seabed is a bit uncertain, so be careful that the anchor does not drag.
Lovely bathing beach and good hiking opportunities in the area.

Simple entry and good depth. You can moor to a buoy and have the bow towards the wooden quay. Here you are well sheltered from waves caused by other boats. There are good opportunities for walks with a bridge connection to the main island where you can dine at the restaurant.

Good harbour sheltered from weather and wind. Nice swimming cove nearby.
The marina is not well-equipped for guests but it is allowed to dock at the southern end of the floating dock. Payment is made at the campsite directly opposite. There are also good facilities for toilets and showers there.

This is a private island. Guests are welcome to dine at the restaurant, but it is recommended to book in advance.
Guests can dock at the concrete pier in the south. The large floating dock in the center is reserved for scheduled traffic. The depth is good. If you plan to stay overnight, you should confirm this with the owner. Read more at https://corneliusrestaurant.no/
