We anchored here when it was nearly calm. Good holding in the bottom here at a depth of 10 meters. Very exposed to most winds, but especially south-southwest wind.

We didn't stay there ourselves, but we went there with a smaller boat. It looks a bit tight to anchor, but it can work if southerly winds are forecasted all day/night.

Beautiful dock facilities. There was 3 meters of depth at low tide when we arrived. It was a great hike to the top of Stortind where Queen Sonja has a Queen Cairn. This hike is highly recommended. No electricity on the dock, but there is water.

Stopped by with the sailboat to find a spot, here all the spaces were taken up by fishing boats.

Cozy small marina. We docked at the middle pier with a sailboat that drafts 2 meters (it was 4 meters deep at this pier). We called the watch phone (90888578) and got good assistance. The guest pier is the innermost one, but it looked a bit shallow there, so we chose the middle one. Call the watch phone before you arrive, and you'll get good help. There are toilets and showers that looked new, great service building.

Great floating dock for 2 boats of approximately 37 feet. Can anchor outside the floating dock. Associated with a campsite, so their facilities can be used. It is exposed to south-west, west, and north-west winds. There is power and water available.

Approach and maritime conditions: Centrally located in Altafjorden, easily accessible. Some traffic of express boats to the traffic quay nearby.
Berthing: Moor alongside the end of the floating dock. Good depth.
The area: Remains of a German cannon battery from World War II nearby. No facilities.
