Marinaen ligger godt beskyttet i Hagenschen Wiek og er let tilgængelig både fra nord og syd. Indsejlingen er uproblematisk, men man bør holde sig til de bøjeafmærkede sejlrender, da det hurtigt kan blive lavt udenfor dem.
