Beschreibung

Ebeltoft is a lovely place that is worth a visit. It's a lovely small traditional Danish town with much to offer.
For boating, a very well and friendly equipped chancellery (Gudmann & Søn) is located 100m from the harbour (Vestervej 17, 8400 Ebeltof). They offer a huge inventory to equip or repair anything on your boat and do it with a large smile. Goodmann & Son also sell Gaz, including the "hard to find in Scandinavia" Blue Campingaz (R907 2.75kf).

Ebeltoft Trafik- og Lystbådehavn or Fregatehavn are three independent harbours.
Trafik and Fregatehavn share the same entrance while Lystbådehavn entrance is a bit more south.
Lystbådehavn is reserverved for old fishing boats where friends restore and maintains old units. You should contact the harbour master before entering that (small) harbour.
In Trafik havn, on the South side, you lye along a pontoon (quite high) or in box mooring.
The payment automate is located by the harbour master office and the facilities just on the other side by the Café. Electricity and showers are paid as extra.

In Fregate museum, on the North side, regular you pay in the Museum entrance (that must be opened) and lye on the North East side, visitors with old traditional boats can lye on the North West museum quay for free :-) The facilities are near the museum entrance. Electricity and showers are included in the base price.

The Washing machine is located on the Skudehavn (marina) located 300m South. A service card can be bought from the automate of this marina.

Do not try to cut over the sand bank in Ebeltoft bay. The beacons are not far off the (very) shalow zone.
The entrance of Ebeltoft Trafik or Fregatehavn is well marked but quite flat. By night, the alignment lights are not easy to spot but present, then a strong projector is required to see the inner harbour beacons.
If you follow the indicated route, you will enjoy at least 4.5m everywhere.
