Flott plass, lite serveringssted. Stor strand nord for Akkarfjord. Er du heldig treffer du på kameler.

Innseiling og maritime forhold: Floating dock and docks
Fortøying: Flytebrygge, longside på yttersiden vest og sør.
Området: Se på det historiske gamle handelsstedet Skrednes, rett ved flytebrygga. Her kan du også bunkre. Litt lenger opp kan du se kameler, faktisk (NRK laget program om dette i 2019). Den ordinære butikken har åpnet 10-15 (11-13). Ellers et godt bevart lite sted med mange prosjekter på gang. Turen gjennom eidet og til Storsand (4 km) anbefales! Lang og bred sandstrand med sanddyner.
