Enter from the river at the ‘Tide Post’. The channel to the marina is a bit tricky but the marina will give you advice on the VHF. Avoid entry 2 or 3 hours either side of low water. Typical UK marina with floating pontoons and ‘finger berths’. Good depth in the marina so you stay afloat at low water.Exposed to the wind but no waves enter the marina.Quiet village with a pub which does food. There is also a bar and restaurant at the marina, but not open every day. Lovely walk along the sea wall past the power station to the ancient church of St Peter’s - one of the oldest church’s in England, with views out to sea.

Want to know how the wind score works? Then you should read this explanation.

The wind forecasts come from yr.no (Norwegian Meteorological Institute), and was last updated 2 hours and 56 minutes ago (Sunday 17 May 07:16 AM). The next night score shows you the worst hour between 22:00 and 08:00 the next night. We recommend that you check multiple sources for wind forecasts. windy.com is a good website to show larger wind systems.
