Enkel og god ankerplass i viken. Idyllisk utsikt i alle retninger. Strandsonen rund er privateid. Den sør-vestlige delen av Foldøy er dyrefredningsområde og der er det forbud mot ilandstigning. Steinete strand mot nord.
