Magnifique endroit, un mouillage comme on les aime. Protection à 360° contre tous les vents, sur un plan d'eau parfaitement calme.
Approche et choix de la zone de mouillage : La photo satellite ci-dessous montre clairement l'approche ainsi que les zones à éviter. Nous avons mouillé au milieu de la baie, par 15 mètres d'eau, sur un fond de vase offrant une bonne tenue. D'autres préfèrent mouiller du côté ouest de la langue de terre, où la profondeur est d'environ 7 mètres.
À terre : Quelques baraquements sont utilisés en été par les chasseurs inuits.
La route des vraquiers contourne le cap Hatt pour rejoindre le terminal maritime de la mine de fer de Milne Inlet.
