Dammholmen is part of the delightful Gåsö area, which is a beautiful place when the weather is OK. The island has a natural freshwater pond (hence the name) and is just high enough to provide shelter from southern winds.

The bay to the south is a bit too narrow and shallow for sailboats, although one or two with their bows in might manage.

On the east side, there are several longside opportunities with a rare combination of good protection from the southwest and a large, free, and open view! A little further north along the east side, people moor bow-in with anchor astern.
