Approach and maritime conditions: The pier with outriggers closest to the inn is open and clear.

The bay towards Hestøya should be deep enough to enter - but the depth at the pier itself is uncertain - and the buoys are only for smaller boats.

The idyllic inner bay is only for the smallest boats - due to shallow waters and overhead wires further in.
Anchoring: At the pier by the inn, boats are docked in double slips with outriggers. Maximum size approximately 40 feet if the neighbor is slightly smaller.

At the pier towards Hestøya, you moor with a buoy aft. Doubtful if there's room for sailboats here.

All the developed piers on Furøya have a small harbor fee. 100 NOK in July and 50 NOK otherwise. Payment is voluntary via Vipps - they do a round in the morning to check.
The area: The inn on Furøya serves food with aspirations slightly above a typical coastal tavern. It also costs a bit more. Making a reservation is a good tip.

From the pier with outriggers, you walk directly to the inn. From the pier on Hestøya, you take a nice walk around the island to get there.
