Innseiling og maritime forhold: Bryggen med utriggere som ligger nærmest vertshuset ligger åpent og rent til.

Bukta mot Hestøya skal være dyp nok til å gå inn i - men dybden ved selve brygga er usikre - og bøyene bare for mindre båter.

Idyllisk indre bukt er kun for de minste - grunnet farvann og luftspenn over videre innseiling.
Ankring: På brygga ved vertshuset ligger man i doble båser med utriggere. Max størrelse omtrent 40 fot hvis naboen er litt mindre.

På brygga mot Hestøya fortøyer man mot bøye akter. Tvilsomt om det er plass til seilere her.

Alle de utbygde bryggene på Furøya er det en liten havneavgift på. 100kr i Juli og 50 ellers. Betaling uoppfordret med Vipps - de tar en runde på formiddagen og sjekker.
Området: Vertshuset på Furøya leverer mat med ambisjoner litt ut over en vanlig kystkro. Koster også litt mer. Bordbestilling er et godt tips.

Fra brygga med utriggere går man rett til vertshuset. Fra brygga på Hestøya går man en fin tur rundt øya for å komme dit.
