Approach and maritime conditions: Approach from the west! The strait to the south is both shallow and covered by an aerial span.
Anchorage: Large natural harbor with both dock spaces with buoys behind, natural harbor anchorage with grapnel, and a couple of swinging anchor spots in the middle.

All the developed docks on Furøya have a small harbor fee. 100 NOK in July and 50 NOK otherwise. Payment unsolicited via Vipps - they make a round in the morning to check.
The area: Great hiking trails on the island, a frisbee golf course, and an ambitious summer restaurant on the south side.
