Gamlebyens Båtforening tilbyr gjesteplasser for båter rett ved Gamlebyen i Fredrikstad. Gjesteplassene ligger ved en romslig brygge, kun en kort spasertur fra den historiske festningsbyen, med restauranter, kafeer, butikker og kulturtilbud like i nærheten. Ved innseiling er det viktig å ta hensyn til strømforholdene i elven og holde lav fart inn mot bryggene. Alle båter skal fortøyes med to akterfortøyninger med lodd og to baugfortøyninger med strekkavlastere. Fendre begge sider for å unngå skader på nabobåter. For our in and out places, boats should be moored with stern lines on both sides with weights to keep the boat in tension, and moored at the front on both sides with tension relief. In strong current, take it easy and ease yourself in between the piles.
