Seems like very loose mud bottom just south of the actual harbor. We anchored there in nearly calm conditions with 3x depth at 8m. We would probably have spent more time checking the holding in a gale.
When you pass the anchorage and are within the harbor area, according to the website, you must pay the full harbor fee, even if you are at anchor.

Approach and maritime conditions: Just south of Grebbestad guest harbor, it's great to anchor. Good depths of about 8-9 meters, and we have never had problems with anchoring. Short distance to Grebbestad center with dinghy.
Anchoring: Use your own anchor. Depths of approximately 10 meters. Be aware that the local sailing school uses the area for training for the smallest classes. You must avoid the pipeline to the north and the power line to the south. The power line is not marked on the chart, but look for signs on land on both sides of the strait.
The area: Short distance to Grebbestad center with cozy shops, and there is a Systembolag here as well. Nice fish shop near the harbor.
