Lett å legge til inne i bukta. T-bolter i brygga.
Dypt nok over det hele. (2,5 meter)
40 meter i fra brygga ligger «Kjærlighetshaven», en forlovelsespresang fra den engelske hummerhandleren John Harden til tjenestejenta Gina Marie på Hammerø Gjestgiveri som faren Gabriel drev. Tollboden lå også på Hammerøy.
Hagen har tidligere vært full av alle mulig roser og frukt-trær. All jord i hagen er ballastjord i fra England som kom med hummerbyssene derfra. (Slutten av 1870-tallet)
Mr. Harden ble skylt overbord under en stormfull overfart over Nordsjøen før noe bryllup ble arrangert. (Det viser seg at han var gift i England i fra før, og etterlot seg derfor en enke der!) Gina Marie ble kort tid etter gift med en kaptein i fra Nøtterøy.
