A lovely harbour, full in season (3 weeks in July) and almost empty the rest of the time.
Even when empty, lying a long side is more challenging as it may look.
You need to be careful as the pontoon are installed on rocks and so draft at pontoon level is very limited in many places. I could not do it even with my lifting keel (1m when up) as one of my rudders (80cm) (dual rudders configuration) was again a stone.
Some stones near pontoon are marked with a small post that are not indicated on the chart (see photo).
The "normal" mooring should be fore moored on pontoon and aft anchor. In that configuration the aft anchor will be either in sand or mud. Holding is perfect. On pontoon there is no cleat but wooden bars. In case of strong wind, the old rings still present on the rocks should be preferred.
A local has informed me that while swinging on anchor is possible, one should be aware that in the deepest section, the mud is very soft and anchor can easily drag.
