Descriptions and reviews

Geir M. Larsen says:

description

Approach and Maritime Conditions: The approach is deep and has few obstacles. It is sheltered from the waves caused by traffic in the fjord outside and is normally very calm. Around the bay, there are many private floating docks, and none of them are guest docks. The village of Glomset has no stores, so don't expect to do any shopping here.
Anchoring: The spot is marked in nautical charts with an anchor and has a maximum depth of 14m. The bay is well sheltered from all winds except those from the east. Anchoring is the way to go here, and with a tidal difference of 1.5 to 2 meters, mooring to the rocks is not recommended.
The Area: The area offers good hiking opportunities if you want to take a walk. The village of Glomset is full of friendly people, and if problems or needs arise, you will likely get the help you need.

Want to know how the wind score works? Then you should read this explanation.

The wind forecasts come from yr.no (Norwegian Meteorological Institute), and was last updated 1 hour and 31 minutes ago (Monday 05 May 05:27 AM).
