description
Ishøj Harbour is located in the middle of Køge Bay close to Copenhagen. The harbour has about 570 berths and is characterized by life and activity, with ARKEN and Ishøj beach as its closest neighbors. The many clubs, restaurants, and barbecue areas at the harbour contribute to a cozy atmosphere, which is often associated with a harbour.
The marina is built on artificially created islands, dividing the area into several small sections, providing a cozy atmosphere that is rarely found in a large harbour. Most or nearly all piers are floating docks.
It is easy to access by car, and public transport goes directly to the harbour, and good shopping opportunities and a shopping center are nearby.
The harbour is not JUST for sailors... Throughout the summer, thousands of visitors come to enjoy the lovely green environment, have a good lunch at one of the eateries, get an ice cream, or just to look at the boats in the harbour. In August, the annual boat exhibition "Cph boatshow" is held at the harbour.

Want to know how the wind score works? Then you should read this explanation.
The wind forecasts come from yr.no (Norwegian Meteorological Institute), and was last updated 1 hour and 60 minutes ago (Wednesday 30 April 02:28 PM). The next night score shows you the worst hour between 22:00 and 08:00 the next night. We recommend that you check multiple sources for wind forecasts. windy.com is a good website to show larger wind systems.
The safe wind directions for this harbour has been decided by an algorithm, based on how elevated the land around the harbour is. It's mostly correct, but sometimes the underlying data about elevation levels is not good enough to make correct decisions. It's a great help to other if you can validate or adjust the safe wind directions. You can see the data used by the algorithm to decide the safe wind directions by clicking here.
