Very well-protected harbor for most winds. There are no waves in the harbor. Long and narrow inlet, max depth 2.5 m. Mooring at the dock with piles. Good services, with a shop, restaurant, and sauna. Possibility to rent bicycles.

The harbour is quite a long way from the sea up a winding and sometimes narrow channel. There's a mix of bouys and leading marks so you don't get lost. The village has a hotel, restaurant and a small supermarket. Mooring is mostly bows to shore and stern between pairs of wooden posts, and is well sheltered. Just above the moorings there's a lowish bridge. I'm told you can take a small boat up the channel and come out on the N side of the island, but have never done it.

While here you might visit Källskär, see https://www.kokar.ax/grevens-oe-kaellskaer?lang=en either in your own boat, or there are tours from the hotel. It's a very special place.
