Good holding in mud bottom. We were troubled by quite a lot of wind that came from the innermost part of the bay, but were fine due to good anchor holding. To the west in the bay there is a small beach owned by the local cabin association.

There are three buoys in the bay; we were nicely at anchor between the two innermost ones, at a depth of approximately 5 meters.

Kåröd Kile is a good and safe place to anchor if you are passing by. The bay is well protected from southernly winds and the anchor has very good hold in clay.

Kåröd Kile may not be a destination in itself, but is nicely surrounded by grasslands, forests and scattered houses.
