description
First of all: The map here, as well as the map on the website kvarkensbatklubb.fi/, do not reflect the actual situation (as of 2026). The satellite image does not show the area where the guest berths are located. The diagram on the website indicates the general area where the guest berths are located. However, there is only one crosswise dock there with four stern buoys (no finger dock). The statement “10 guest berths” on the website is therefore incorrect. One or two boats should be able to moor alongside the adjacent floating dock (made of concrete). I would say it’s more likely to accommodate only one larger boat.
There is no water (absolutely no water). All the faucets at the service building have been unscrewed. There is one (!), I repeat, a single toilet; no shower, no kitchen—nothing.
There is a service building with a sauna (and shower?). This requires an additional fee (19 euros as of 2026) and can only be paid with a Finnish cell phone number (billed through the cell phone bill).
The port fee is paid via the easyPark app and amounts to 17.25 euros (2026)
It’s also worth mentioning that there’s a small brewery here (100 metres from the harbour). They have a shop where you can buy beer at prices that are reasonable by Finnish standards.

Do you know this harbour? It's a huge help to other sailors if you add a short description or review of the harbour.

Want to know how the wind score works? Then you should read this explanation.
The wind forecasts come from yr.no (Norwegian Meteorological Institute), and was last updated 2 hours and 15 minutes ago (Wednesday 08 July 07:28 PM). The next night score shows you the worst hour between 22:00 and 08:00 the next night. We recommend that you check multiple sources for wind forecasts. windy.com is a good website to show larger wind systems.
The safe wind directions for this harbour has been decided by an algorithm, based on how elevated the land around the harbour is. It's mostly correct, but sometimes the underlying data about elevation levels is not good enough to make correct decisions. It's a great help to other if you can validate or adjust the safe wind directions. You can see the data used by the algorithm to decide the safe wind directions by clicking here.
