Popular harbour and despite having many spots, it can get full during the summer holiday. Easiest to dock on the outside with mooring lines, but stern-to docking is not something Norwegians are good at. With strong crosswind, I got the mooring line in the propeller :-) And many others struggled, so put out plenty of fenders and be ready to help your neighbor if needed. The harbour attendants help out but might not have the greatest experience?

The marina uses a new app ('Marina Booking') which is quite cumbersome with demands for PIN codes and an unclear interface. Prices are not listed upfront (as far as I could see), but for 30-39 feet, it costs 450 per night. Electricity must be prepaid separately and then runs via a meter during use, and it’s quite unreliable - the neighbor didn’t get any connection at all, and our power was cut off at midnight and we had to switch outlets to get it back.

The service center is stated in the app to open at 0730, but in reality, it opened at 0800. Otherwise, good facilities. Shower and washing machine cost 50, payable via a QR code that leads to Vipps and not the app. Just as well.

Otherwise, you are in the heart of the capital of Southern Norway, close to most things, and every Tuesday there are concerts at Fiskebrygga, just far enough away not to be disturbing, and they end at 23.

Flytebryggen er svært utsatt for dønninger og det er ganske ofte veldig ubehaglig å ligge her - selv om man ligger på innsiden av flytebryggen er det mye bevegelse i sjøen, og en del båttraffikk frem og tilbake. Anbefaler på det sterkeste å finne en plass i indre havn bak bølgebryteren rett øst for flytebryggene. Her er det langt bedre skjermet, og en kan ligge i ro. Vi hadde ingen problemer med å komme oss inn her og fortøye i båsene nærmest kiosken, dybdemåleren viste mellom 2.8 2.3 meter. See opp for stein (2m) merket i sjøkart ved ved inngang til indre havn

Kristiansand guest harbor is owned by Kristiansand municipality and operated by Kristiansand guest harbor operations AS. The harbor was established in its current form in 1988. The harbor has approximately 150 guest spots, divided into about 75 spots on the inside of the breakwater and 75 spots on the outside.

Kiosk is open during the summer season, but after around August 20th, only when needed/many guests.
The service facility is open from 0900 - 1700 (shower, toilet, washing machine/dryer). After this, two toilets (one with a shower) are open 24/7 with a code you receive after paying the harbour fee.
The service facility is only a couple of years old and looks very fine and new. The showers are high-pressure washers fixed to the wall. When I was there (end of August), it was cleaned about once a week.

Prices 2024:

Harbour fee: To be paid before 6 PM:
Summer season is from June 1st - September 20th.
00 - 29 feet: 350 NOK per day
30 - 39 feet: 400 NOK per day
40 - 49 feet: 450 NOK per day
50 - 59 feet: 580 NOK per day
Over 60 feet: 650 NOK per day

Washing machine/dryer: 50 NOK per token, must be purchased at the kiosk.
Shower: 50 NOK for 7 minutes (paid through app).
Electricity: Pay per KW. Paid through app. The power outlet is controlled via app, and you must disconnect/unplug via app before removing the plug. The electricity is automatically disconnected at 12 PM on the day of departure, even though you can stay until 6 PM before having to pay for a new day.
