Beautiful anchorage located at the foot of Beerenberg, which reaches a height of 2,277 meters, the northernmost active volcano on the planet.
Krossbukta is a good anchorage, offering protection against east to south winds and swell. However, it is important to keep in mind that as soon as the wind strengthens, violent katabatic winds can descend from the volcano.
Anchor in 17 to 20 meters of water, on sand that gradually ascends.
