Contact vieux port for a berth before sailing there at vieuxport@portlarochelle.com
and report your arrival on VHF 09.
The lock and bridge will be opened 4 times during one tide cycle, if there is demand. About 3,5 m water is always maintained in the basin de yachts.
Excellent place to be, great old city, very lively too!

Sail for God's sake all the way through the massive stone gate. Impressive. Boat show while we were there and regatta for children in lots of wind. Great harbor.
