A distinction must be made between guest berths in a small boat harbour, which can only be accessed via a channel with shallow water depths. Boats with a draught of more than 1.2 m should only enter at high tide.
Outside the harbour entrance, there is a floating jetty for large boats with very good water depth (over 3 m), but there is no infrastructure.
The neighbouring ferry landing stage is only in operation when necessary, i.e. when the landing stage in Fognes is unusable.

Very nice village, with many old wooden houses. Wild salomon center, interesting. Lot of things to do; rent kajakk, rent of bicykles with organized trip by car (bring and pick up) along the old "king road" at Filefjell. or use bike all way back (downhill) and also see Vindhella vegen and Borgund stave church
Nearby camping place with restaurant.

Want to know how the wind score works? Then you should read this explanation.
The wind forecasts come from yr.no (Norwegian Meteorological Institute), and was last updated 1 hour and 55 minutes ago (Monday 17 November 01:28 AM). The next night score shows you the worst hour between 22:00 and 08:00 the next night. We recommend that you check multiple sources for wind forecasts. windy.com is a good website to show larger wind systems.
The safe directions for this harbour was added at 31. Aug 2023. Click here to edit.
Lærdal Båthavn is surrounded by high hills or mountains. When strong winds come from the mountainous side there is a risk of turbulent or katabatic winds (also called "fall winds"), which may be rather unpleasant. In such conditions, you should not rely on the wind protection score for the coming night. Click to edit.
