There are car ferries arriving here twice daily. The ferry runs between Lochmaddy and Uig on the Isle of Skye. The floating docks are in excellent condition, with both electricity and water. Toilets and showers, as well as a laundry, are in containers on land. There is also waste disposal and diesel there, but the diesel station is by the walkway and it is very shallow in there, especially at low tide. There is a small grocery store about a kilometer from the harbor. A couple of small hotels with bars and food service.
The harbor is operated by local volunteers. The price is £3 per meter of boat length. Washing machines and dryers are coin-operated.
