Approach and maritime conditions: The anchorage at Færøya is located at the northernmost part of Lurøysundet. There is a 20m air clearance to the south in Lurøysundet, otherwise the channel is well-marked. There are generally many good anchorages in Lurøysundet, in case this one is full.
