We stay in this Harbor about once a month. The south end has a soft Sandy bottom and is generally about 20 feet deep.
We have seen larger boats anchor at the north end but have not tried that ourselves as we have seen multiple boats end up on the beach at low tide in that area
No reservation is required and you are allowed to stay up to 72 hours. Harbor Police routinely patrol and track Boat names and we have seen them removing boats that have overstayed the 72 hours
Marine life is abundant in this area. We have seen sea lions and even dolphins in the bay. And we have seen whales to the west off of Mission Beach

The channel is fairly shallow and there can be breaking waves especially at low tide making the entry a bit tricky

Want to know how the wind score works? Then you should read this explanation.
The wind forecasts come from yr.no (Norwegian Meteorological Institute), and was last updated -374 minutes ago (Monday 04 May 11:17 PM). The next night score shows you the worst hour between 22:00 and 08:00 the next night. We recommend that you check multiple sources for wind forecasts. windy.com is a good website to show larger wind systems.
The safe wind directions for this harbour has been decided by an algorithm, based on how elevated the land around the harbour is. It's mostly correct, but sometimes the underlying data about elevation levels is not good enough to make correct decisions. It's a great help to other if you can validate or adjust the safe wind directions. You can see the data used by the algorithm to decide the safe wind directions by clicking here.
