Innseiling og maritime forhold: Det er lett innseiling fra vest-nordvest. Vær oppmerksom på grunnene i syd ved innseilingen, men de er godt merket med en stake og en bøye (nord merke). Dydbder 15-8 meter.
Fortøying: Det er en liten gjestebrygge på Nærsnes for mindre båter, men det er supert å ligge på svai i bukta. Fint på alle sydlige og vestlige vinder. Godt feste.
Området: Nærsnes er en koselig havn. Det finnes kun en Joker-butikk her om man trenger å handle. Promhavn Slipp A/S ligger her om man trenger hjelp. Slippen er egnet også for større båter, også trebåter.
