Innseiling og maritime forhold: Naturhavn vest for Bømlo, rett ved Skotningen fyr. Enkel innseiling mellom to jernstaker.
Ankring: Ankring på dybder fra 8-15m. Typisk dybde ca 10m på det naturlige ankringsstedet. Det er mulig å legge til langs fjellet på østsiden, men det er bratt å komme i land der. Havna gir generelt god beskyttelse, men vind og bølger fra S-SØ vil merkes.
