OBS: Kaien eies av han som eier MB Arnefjord, som holder til her. Kan nok være greit å sjekke med ham om å ligge her. Det var ok for oss å ligge et par dager, men det kommer også rutebåt hit.

Lett tilkomst. Kaien er den gamle dampskipskaien, og her kan ein ligga fritt. Veldig hyggelege lokale fastbuande, som ynskjer båtfolket velkommen. Det er også eit miljø for båtrestaurering, og ein flott gamal restaurert handelsbåt er ofte å sjå.

I 1811 gikk det eit stort skred her. Mange av husa på Nese vart tekne av skredet og ført 600-700 meter nedover. 45 menneske omkom, av omlag 60 personar som budde her.
I skredstova ca 300 m opp frå kaien er det laga eit "museum" der ein kan lesa og sjå meir om denne naturkatastrofen
