Innseiling og maritime forhold: Nothaugen Fiskecamping, eller Vinsternes om en vil ligger godt skjermet i "Sør Vinsternesvågen" og tilhører Aure kommune.
Innseiling fra Trondheimsleia, eller vestfra hvis en kommer ut noen av sundene (Imarsundet eller Solemsundet).
Fortøying: Nye brygger hvor en fortøyer longside.
Utsatt for vind fra vestlig retning.
Området: Flott område med mange muligheter.
