The place is simply gorgeous and the approach is very easy thanks to the good buoyage.
The pontoons make a good impression, electricity was available, water is currently not available at the pontoon.

An assessment as of June 10, 2026, would not be fair.
Because a new, very friendly and helpful couple has just taken over the harbour.
They were working on the pontoons. Fuel is supposed to be available again in two weeks. They apologized for the state of the toilet and shower, which is not enticing.


Since it was still the absolute off-season, the pizzeria on the beach was only open on Saturday and Sunday.
The harbour master will also reopen the kiosk on the pier.
The shop currently seems to be closed and the restaurant also seems to be closing soon. Unfortunately, we could no longer ask the new harbour master what the future plans are.

As mentioned, they are working on it and should be given a chance. If we come close again, we would certainly visit again. It would be even better if someone else could write an even more positive report here in a few weeks.

Entry is easy up a bouyed channel. Watch out for occasional ferries, the channel is quite narrow. Good mooring to pontoon, you'll need a stern anchor. There is power on the pontoon, but very few sockets, and easier to connect at the end nearest land.

In 2024 the facilities were quite primitive, a shower and one toilet under the old restaurant (which was closed), both in need of updating. Small shop at the back of the main building, along with harbour office. Lovely bakery by the ferry pier. Cafe/restaurant close to pontoon with good food. Wifi available. Dry toilets to the W of harbour. There is a fuel point but no fuel when we were there in 2024.

Well sheltered unles strong winds blow straight up the channel. The harbour is quite large with plenty of room to anchor further up the harbour clear of ferries well to the N of pontoon.
