description
A quiet natural harbour with few spaces. The public moorings are on the east-most pier, which is also used about once a day by a small ferry, which moors on the N end. The additional moorings to the east belong to the Sea Bears who don't share them with non-members.
The usual entrance is from the east, but it is also possible to enter CAREFULLY from the west. There are private marks to show the route, but there are a lot of rocks, so take sails down in good time and have someone at the bows to watch for rocks. Moor bows to the small ferry pier and a stern anchor. Go very slowly, there are also rocks quite close to the root of the pier.
Dry toilet a short climb up from the pier, and it may be possible to pay for the use of a lovely old wooden sauna on piles above the harbour. Sometimes you can buy fish from the local inhabitants.

Want to know how the wind score works? Then you should read this explanation.
The wind forecasts come from yr.no (Norwegian Meteorological Institute), and was last updated 3 hours and 13 minutes ago (Sunday 03 August 05:28 PM). The next night score shows you the worst hour between 22:00 and 08:00 the next night. We recommend that you check multiple sources for wind forecasts. windy.com is a good website to show larger wind systems.
The safe wind directions for this harbour has been decided by an algorithm, based on how elevated the land around the harbour is. It's mostly correct, but sometimes the underlying data about elevation levels is not good enough to make correct decisions. It's a great help to other if you can validate or adjust the safe wind directions. You can see the data used by the algorithm to decide the safe wind directions by clicking here.
