Innseiling og maritime forhold: Innerst i en fjord Grunne på babord side like før en er inne. God dybde rundt alle flytebrygger, kan være litt grunt for seilbåter "longside" ved fast brygge. Ingen problem med bølger fra passerende båter. Beskyttet i alle vindretninger.
Ankring: Fortøyer til flytebrygger, viss mykje båt er da i tillegg mulig å organisere førtøyning med baug mot den faste bryggen. Plass til mange båter.
Området: Plassholmen er ein naturskjønn og beskytta hamn i all slags vær. Gode brygger med god djupne, og på land fleire rastebord og ei trivelig grillhytte til regnværsdagar og lune kveldar. Området er tilgjengelig også til fots, med gode turløyper i varierende vanskelighetsgrad og lengde. Velkommen til Plassholmen.
