description
Entry and maritime conditions: Rørstad is located at the outlet of Follfjorden, on the north side. On the opposite side, you'll find Tårnvika.
Entering is straightforward, but note that the harbor is not always illuminated in the dark. Enter on the right side of the breakwater, and then turn to the left.
Steep mountains can cause unpredictable and occasionally strong winds upon entry, but the harbor is well protected from the sea.
Mooring: Possibility to moor at the quay for larger boats or at the guest pier, which usually has space for 2-3 leisure boats on each side. During certain periods in the summer, one side is reserved.
The area: Old settlements with activities dating back to the Viking Age and even earlier. Beautiful church, nice beach, and great hiking area.
