Innseiling og maritime forhold: Rørstad ligger i utløpet av Follfjorden, på nordsiden. På motsatt side finner man Tårnvika.

Innseiling er helt grei, vær obs på at havna ikke alltid er i mørket. Inn på høyre side av moloen, og til venstre.

Bratte fjell kan gi uforutsigbar og tildels sterk vind ved innseiling, men havna er godt beskyttet mot sjø.
Fortøying: Mulighet å fortøye til Kai for større båter eller til gjestebrygge, som gjerne har plass til 2-3 fritidsbåter på hver side. I perioder på sommeren er ene siden reservert.
Området: Gammel bebyggelse med aktivitet tilbake til vikingetiden og vel så det. Flott kirke, fin strand og fint turområde.
