The pearl of Ryfylke! Good pier with environmental station and fire pan. Toilet and lean-to shelter nearby. Great swimming opportunities, as well as many exciting places to explore with a rubber boat or SUP. Great hiking trails around the island. Lots of ticks.
Be aware of grazing sheep, so keep your dog on a leash.

Harald Ommang says:
description
Approach and maritime conditions: Located in a strait oriented northeastward. Approach from the north is straightforward. From the south, follow the buoys before the entrance to the strait. Midway between the entrance and the dock, there is a shoal approximately 1.5m to starboard. Stay in the middle of the fairway.
Anchoring: Fixed quay, moor alongside. Popular place, boats often moor alongside each other. Some anchor from the end of the dock. Several nice places to anchor on the other side of the strait.
5-7 m depth at the quay.
The area: Nice for walking on Rossøy. Developed hiking/walking trails.
