The bay looks larger in the picture than it is in reality. Many come in for a swim but leave in the evening. Since there are several harbors nearby, many boats pass by to the northeast of the bay. There is some wake, but it's still ok. Nice small rock slabs to approach by boat or by swimming. You can dispose of garbage on the island. Cozy little bay. Three ice cream boats came by during the day.

Approach and maritime conditions: Easy approach. Mud bottom causes no damage in the event of grounding. You can sail in on either side of the islet.
Anchoring: The natural harbor has a mud bottom that provides good holding ground. There are eye bolts and possibilities to dock against the land in several places towards Saraholmen. There are not many waves reaching in there. There is good protection against sea breezes and wind. If you have a dinghy, you can quickly go to Sandvika for shopping. You have the sun for a long time and the water is warm.
The area: It is a bit challenging to land on Borøya. However, it is possible to go for a walk there. If you dock the boat far west, you will have the sun for a long time.
