Approach and Maritime Conditions: Enter from the southern side. Slowly. Keep towards the western side until you are inside. There is a shoal east-west on the northern side but west of this, there is good space on the northern side, likely also on the southern side. Waves from the west are broken by shallow water; all other wind directions here are completely safe in terms of waves. The surrounding islands are relatively low, and strong winds can be a bit tiresome. The bottom appears to be good for anchoring.
Anchoring: You need a wedge to secure to the rock. Good holding for anchor.
The Area: Beautiful islands without underbrush or forest, bare rocks, heather. Short way (by dinghy) to Byrknes with a store. The southern harbor has fuel and water.
