Sheltered harbour. Best docking at the eastern point or the low elongated island northwest of the point. Alternatively, anchor. Clay bottom. Beach with sandy bottom on both sides of the point. Behind the beach northeast of the point, there are toilets and garbage bins. From there, a path leads to a fine walking trail, partly eastward to Makø (ferry to Skjærhalden 4 times daily), partly to Nordre pier south on the island, also a ferry stop there. Alternative nice harbours nearby: Tordenskjoldbukta on the north side of Nordre Sandøy, and Tresvika on the east side.
