description
Tribune Bay has a sandy bottom transitioning to sandstone at depth. It is very shallow on the West side of the Bay. The beach is large, sandy, has good swimming, and has provincial park rest room facilities. There is a grocery and hardware store, gas station, and shopping area with restaurants and cafes a short walk inland. The bay is very open to the East and South East. In easterlies it can get rough and it is not unknown for anchors to drag if anchored in sand.
