description

Approach and maritime conditions:
- Good approach, located on the southeast side of Vannøya. The floating dock is inside two sets of breakwaters, making this harbor very calm and quiet.
- About 5-6 meters depth in the harbor
- During the coldest winter months, the harbor can partially freeze over, especially near the floating dock.

Mooring floating dock:
- No guest berths are available in the harbor, but you can moor at the outermost pier on the floating dock. Be aware that there are two anchoring chains extending from the end of the floating dock at about a 45-degree angle down into the sea.
- There are no bollards on the floating dock, but there are mooring rings.

Mooring wooden quay:
- On the southern side of the bay, there is a 25-meter long wooden quay with a deck. Depth is 3-4 meters at low tide. Be aware that the fast boat docks here, usually arriving on Friday and Sunday afternoons.

The area:
Local shop nearby and good hiking opportunities.

Want to know how the wind score works? Then you should read this explanation.

The wind forecasts come from yr.no (Norwegian Meteorological Institute), and was last updated 2 hours and 5 minutes ago (Wednesday 19 March 12:27 PM). The next night score shows you the worst hour between 22:00 and 08:00 the next night. We recommend that you check multiple sources for wind forecasts. windy.com is a good website to show larger wind systems.
