The Virtsu Sadam is a small port and does not have as extensive facilities as larger marinas. There is no fuel station and the selection of restaurants and shopping opportunities nearby is very limited.
The port has only a limited number of berths, so it can be difficult to find a spot during the peak season. The harbor staff is generally very friendly and helpful. They assist boaters with questions and problems. The harbor is kept clean and the sanitary facilities are adequate but a few steps away. They are located in the ferry building.
The prices for berths are relatively inexpensive compared to other ports in Estonia, we paid 10€. We stayed for 2 days to wait out the weather and were somewhat protected here with winds up to 8.
