Vågen is in the middle of Stavanger city center, so there's a lot of activity for better or worse. Bars and restaurants line up along the quay, and cruise tourists wander in flocks or go on RIB tours to see the Pulpit Rock and Lysefjord. The service building is located at the guest harbor in Børevigå, in the RS building which is clearly visible, about a ten-minute walk away. Shower and washing machine are included in the harbor fee, which is paid via GoMarina. Vågen is exposed to wind and waves when they come straight in, and it's a bit tight to navigate for larger boats. Vessels over 15 meters must contact the guest harbor for arrangements.

Approach and maritime conditions: Stavanger guest harbor has two sections: Bangavågen and Vågen. Vågen is located in the innermost part of Stavanger city center with nightlife spots close to the harbor. There is electricity and water on the piers, while garbage disposal, showers, washing machines, etc., are in the other section (Bangavågen). It is deep and can be visited by all types of vessels. Larger vessels (over 15 meters) must report to the harbor watch (24/365) on channel 12 or phone +47 51 50 12 01. Payment is made via GoMarina.
