Visited this place on 22/5-2026, and Kvitsøy with the boat for the first time. It is quiet to stay here. Short distance to a small beach and toilet.
There is also a shelter with a grill available right across the strait. About 20 minutes walk north to Coop store (which is open until 23:00 every day with self-service).
We also dined at Grønningen restaurant, and it was a nice place with very good food.
Would love to return to Kvitsøy.

Ryfylke Outdoor Council's dock with two benches. Adequate depth on both sides at the outer end (approx. 2.5m), but becomes shallower quickly towards the inner end. It is deepest on the east side. Sandy bottom, so no danger of grounding if the tide goes out.
