description
With southern and southeastern winds, you can anchor comfortably outside the harbor at Stråholmen. There are large areas to drop anchor with good holding and depths of 5-10 meters. There is space for a great many boats here.
On land, you will find nice buildings and pleasant paths heading southward on the island. It's also great for kayaking or paddling a SUP around Stråholmen on calm days.

description
Approach and maritime conditions: Stråholmen is located 4 - 5 nautical miles north of the guest harbour on Jomfruland. Approach from the northeast. Pay special attention to the shoal extending north-northwest from the harbour towards Denmark and Rugsekken.
Anchoring: The harbour at Stråholmen has a built-up breakwater with a few guest spots for mooring with an anchor. Outside the breakwater, it is ideal to anchor or moor with an anchor towards the shore. Anchoring depth is 3-6 meters with good bottom conditions.
The area: Stråholmen is a charming place with several cabins and a large open area. There is a nice and child-friendly beach inside the breakwater.
