A bit difficult to understand how to get shore power. But there is a code in the email you receive from Docspot. (We met some people who had given up trying to connect to power). You enter the code on the inside of the power pedestal. The pedestal opens with a blue button on the side. There is a row of numbers from 1-8. Press them in quick succession. You will then get a light on the display showing what is available. Then you press the desired outlet (4 numbers).

We also experienced that the wind speed from yr/Hvnwguiden did not match reality. For example, it was supposed to be 9 m/s (with 14 m/s in gusts), but it was almost calm, 1-2 m/s. The wind direction was from the southwest.

Hamburgsund guest harbor is located in the middle of the long strait between Hamburgø and the mainland, at the ferry terminal. There are guest harbors on both sides of the strait. On the mainland side, there is a shop and café, and on the island side, there is mini golf.

The northern part of Hamburgsund is charming with sea houses and beautiful homes on both sides. The area around the guest harbor is not as charming. Here, there is a mix of commercial buildings, apartment blocks, and holiday homes.

The harbor is relatively well sheltered from westerly winds, and it is often advantageous to stay here when the wind is strong. However, there is still a draft through the strait.
