A very beautiful and car-free island with many hiking trails in pine forests and sheltered coves with sandy beaches. There is a shop and many eateries in the center. Frequent departures with scheduled boats to Stockholm.

You will be met by a RIB with harbor staff outside the piers, and an 'armada' of assistants from the harbor will help you when you moor. Absolutely outstanding. Most places have mooring lines, and some have alongside berths.

There is electricity and water on the docks, but restrictions on water usage.

It is easy to stop for refueling and emptying septic tanks.

The marina also has jetties at Telegrafholmen with shuttle services every hour to and from the main markets.

The service buildings are clean and neat. Shower is included. Washing and drying 200 NOK. The mooring fees are on the more expensive side but acceptable.
