description
Approach and maritime conditions: Kollevåg consists of 2 bays developed as recreational areas. In the western bay, there are several beaches with sand and gravel. Large lawns on land. Diving board. In this bay, there are few or no places to moor (small boats can be pulled up on the beach, and one can lie next to the rock at the nudist beach) and it is also not allowed to anchor as there is a geotextile fabric on the bottom of the bay. If you want to visit this bay, you can also stay in the guest harbor of Askøy Sailing Association where there is a path (about 100m) to the innermost and nearest beach.
In the eastern bay, there is a large stone pier at the very end (with a large barbecue hut on the pier) and a number of mooring bolts along the rock for boats lying with stern anchors. Furthest out, there is also an unfendered old stone pier. If you stay here, it might be worth knowing that you have to pass through the area's only free (nudist) beach to get to the rest of Kollevågen.
There is good marking with stakes of the approach to Kollevåg.
Anchoring: Mooring with grapnel/anchor. Mooring bolts/eyes on land. Mix of sandy bottom and stone.
