description
Easy approach, but a shoal of 1.5m at the entrance of the bay (marked on the sea chart). Good shelter from most wind directions. Old wooden quay where you might not be able to dock the entire boat if it is +/- 30 feet due to shallow depth. Personally, I wasn't too worried as it seems to be a muddy bottom.

description
Entrance and maritime conditions: Hisøya is a green oasis in the archipelago between Bømlo and Fitjar, just outside Rolvsnes. Natural harbor.
Anchoring: Dock, a bit shallow at low tide - 1.5 to 2m maybe. Space for a couple of boats.
The area: Take a walk around Hisøyvatnet, check out the 30 m high Sitka spruce
